Well, that was most likely the PS3 version of the game , but I have to say, "Holy Shit!"

I`m glad to see them back in Liberty City. It looks like they took all of NYC this time. Maybe I`ll see my old neighborhood in the Bronx in it. They better have all the boroughs in there this time.
I`ll be looking forward to this installment. I wonder how many stereotypes they can portray in this one?

NYC! Love it. The game looks fantastic. What I want to know is if it will have online play. Can't wait to play it.

Why would you assume that's the Ps3 build of the game? Sony's hold on this franchise has become tenuous at best since the rumours of Microsoft's potentially imminent takeover of Take Two Interactive have surfaced, not to mention that the difference in appearance between most games that are developed for both the PS3 and XBOX 360 are negligible. I know all the hard core fan-boys want to act like they can tell the difference, but even professional gaming journalists have done screen by screen comparisons of various multi-platform fare, and have been hard pressed to tell the builds apart, since the difference between the two consoles is very minor in terms of graphics. Maybe once someone finally learns how to deal with the completely un-user friendly development kit for the PS3, they may be able to milk enough juice from that cell processor to set the PS3's graphics apart from the 360's, but at this point the difference is barely noticable.

Also, Liberty City is totally fictional. Certainly it has many of the quallities of Manhattan, the Bronx, etc. which it was obviously based on, but you aren't going to be able to drive past your old digs. You probably have a better shot with that the Spiderman 3 game, which is also looking pretty sweet. Rockstar usually tries to avoid using real cities in thier games, as far as I know the only time they ever did was with GTA London, back in the day. Personally, I'd just as soon see a new locale rather than seeing Liberty City change. I've already played two games in Liberty, Two games in Vice, and I'm sure they have a San Andreas Stories coming for PSP, so some new terrain would be welcome.

Regardless this trailer looks awesome, and further's my belief that no matter how many developers try, Rockstar is unbeatable when it comes to this genre.

First of all, I wasn`t being literal about seeing my old neighborhood, ass. I know that Liberty City is fictional. The fact is Rockstar uses real cities as the foundation to the cities in their games. I don`t know if you`ve ever been to NYC, but every place they showed in the trailer is pretty much exactly what it looks like in real life. Times Square, Coney Island. Grand Central Station and The freakin MetLife building, oh the Brooklyn Bridge and The Statue of Liberty. All they did was change the damn names and added one or 2 things. So yeah, Liberty City is NYC, jackass!
And I`m so sorry I offended your sensibilities by assuming it was the PS3 version and not the Xbox360. Talk about Fanboy! I only mentioned that because I have a PS2 and I damn sure know it won`t look that crisp on my console. Could your tongue be up Bill Gates ass any farther?

WOW! I REALLY hope this comes out and looks as good on the PC!

Looks like maybe they're using the Bethesda "Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion" engine or something close to it.

I don't own either the XBox 360 system (At least until they lower the high end system by $100) or the PS3 (Which I will NEVER pay $900 CDN just to play THIS game) but if it comes out for the PC then I'm sooooo there!

Wow, a little sensitive there ponyboy, did I step on your scrotum on accident? Actually, before you make assumptions about my tongue and Bill Gates' ass, (real classy by the way), I am a fanboy for neither party, Microsoft, or Sony. I don't care about the hardware, only the games. So rather than being defensive and calling me names, just accept the fact that your observations were inane and ill-informed. If you know you won't be able to see your old neighborhood, why did you suggest it as a possibility? You have to expect that people are going to point out how stupid that is, so don't get defensive because you made an ill informed comment. Liberty City certainly borrows elements from NYC, but not enough to justify your lame observation. Unless you live in the Chrysler building or at the Statue of Liberty anyway, since they've only borrowed MAJOR LANDMARKS. So I'd say it's apparrent that you have something up your ass, but it was there long before I came along. Call me some more names though if it makes you feel manly. Till then, get your story straight before you spead, and don't say something stupid unless you want to be called on it.
