'Trailer Park of Terror' debuts at Slamdance

By Rob M. Worley     December 06, 2007

The comic based indie horror flick 'Trailer Parker of Terror' is set to make its official debut at the 2008 Slamdance film festival.

The film is a "Twilight Screening" selection at the Park City, Utah-based festival which runs late in January. 'Trailer Park of Terror' is scheduled to screen Monday, January 21st, at 10:45 pm. The movie is one of 39 entrees picked from 1300 submissions.

The movie is based on the horror anthology title created by Christopher March and James Dracoules and published under their Imperium Comics banner. The movie tells the story of a group of road tripping, problem teens and their chaperone pastor who are forced to seek shelter in the title homestead. There they meet Norma and the rest of the Trailer Trash denizens who proceed to make their lives a living hell.

Nichole Hiltz stars as Norma. The film is directed by Country music video director Steven Goldman.

Fans got their first look at the film's trailer and met the movie's co-stars Michelle Lee and Ed Corbin at last summer's Comic-Con International in San Diego.
