fft5305- Dont forget those F-ing robots better turn into a car or plane or gun (oh those were the days, now we can't let our kids play w/ toy guns anymore) race around then turn into robots and fight! I cant effing WAIT FOR this pizza & beer flick!

Pony and Wise - Well said, I hate a pretentious movie critic. I always try to give them some slack , because it is their job to watch movies, and have to sit through so many good and bad, they probably become overly critical pretentious assholes without even realizing it... but their still douchebags when they forget what a movie like this is supposed to be.

Pigformers wil blow like Violator at Comiccon. Is that original enough for ya? The Cubs offense has better action then Pigformers :Devastator ripsoff Voltron

Hopefully Meagan Fox's camel toe will get IMAX treatment

The problem withc ritics, and amateur reviewers alike, is that its generally (for reasons I cant decipher) considered more 'intellectual' to argue whats wrong with something, than to agree or give praise.

Ones ability to prove wrong, put down, or go so far as to 'explain how it would be better' somehow gives (self designated) intellectuals some sort of validation.

Its not just movies that this happens with, it is life in general.

People also tend to be quite defensive yet unable to validate their opinions, or express why something 'subjective' is good. So the most common approach is typically to point out obvious flaws.

Its very similar to a 400 lb friend, telling me why he wouldnt 'do some chick' who has a 'fat ass', even though I know he would perform 'assisted relaxation' using even a semi-suggestive picture of said 'fat ass'.

Couple that with the ever growing 'road rage' mentality, that has moved from behind the wheel, to behind the keyboard, and you have a nice 'critic stew' just waiting to attempt to fill peoples appetite for knowledge.  Typically though,  its just a recipe for gastric distress.

Ultimatelly, it takes a very confident person to give a positive review, and admit that someone elses idea, vision, or creation is worthy of praise. Most reviews say anything except 'I am confident' of the reviewer.

I still say if someone were to set a standard for movies,  similar to game reviews,  it would be a lot more useful to those of us that want an idea of the quality,  without an opinion.

Im sorry you have a point.

The Paramount logo opening up Pigformers 2 was great and the static noise after the end credits really sounded great.

I like how Meagan Fox's cameltoe is not very obvious in Pigformers.

Also its incredible that Shia was able to act as bad with a injured hand as he would with healthy hand.

Good for Peter Cullen to use old poorly written dialogue written for him so he cant recite good dialogue.

Bravo to Hugo Weaving for being patient enough to allow Megatron's voice to sound ike a orgy with Jerry's Kids and not menacing which Hugo Weaving can do with his own voice.

Great work Bay on ripping off Who Framed Roger rabbit without good actors you are so uber.
