TRANSFORMERS Script Review

By: Karl Schneider
Date: Thursday, May 18, 2006
Source: Latino Review

Latino Review has posted a script review for the upcoming live action Transformers movie.

I would take it with a grain of salt as all reports I have heard say the movies security is very tight. If you are intersted anyways, you can view the review here.

They gave it a rating of A+ and called the script 'A Complete Miracle'.

Jesus, I hope they're right.

With all due respect, his review sounds like a total and complete "plant". I'm sure they told him, "We'll let you see the script if you give us a good review." For once I'd like to see objectionable opinions posted, not ass kissing and ratings below a "B". Come on people we're not dumb.

I would like to believe the review, as DeSanto totally delivered with XMEN and X2, but I have zero faith in the bought-and-sold movie critics of today.

BTW I meant ratings ABOVE a "B". I've rarely seen any below one even on the worst movies in the history of this site.

Isn't Speilberg behind this too? I thougth it was a dreamworks picture and he had a major producing credit for this. Would maybe explain a decent script. But then again look at war of the worlds, so i could be wrong.

I have a hard time believing Bay let the script get out, but even if it did, scripts get changes so much during filming. I just want to see some real footage of the transformers...err...transforming.

Kind of sounds like National Treasure meets Masters of the Universe

Ok, even if this guy does have the script, and even if it doesn't change from now until when cameras finish rolling, and EVEN if it looks as good onscreen as it sounds in the script...This guy admitted to loving "Armageddon". Let me say that again:

THIS GUY ADMITTED TO LOVING FARKING ARMAGEDDON.

His opinion on movies means nothing.

"And begging your pardon sir, it's a big damn sky"

C'mon post #8...you know you loved Armageddon! Ok, so Armageddon wasn't a great movie, but I really thought it was fun and entertaining...all except for the Russian guy; I could have done without him in the film.

I could have done without Ben Asschin.
