Weekend estimates published by Box Office Mojo indicate that 'Transformers' has taken in another $36million in its second weekend of release, bringing its total domestic gross into the ballpark of about $223 million.
The take indicates a drop of about 49% of its audience from the first 6 and 1/2 day weekend release.
Predictably, the movie was unseated from its #1 spot by the new 'Harry Potter' movie.
'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer' finally drops out of the top 10 in its fifth week of release. That movie's domestic take stands at $127 million.
