Thanks to a tip received by a scooper, we were turned on to a recent announcement issued by HarperCollins about the forthcoming first novel of comic scribe Warren Ellis (TRANSMETROPOLITAN, THE AUTHORITY). Ellis' untitled novel is set for publication sometime in the winter or spring of 2005. HarerCollins describes the novel as a "comic tour of the dark underbelly of American culture", with "a down-and-out private detective who is hired by heroin-addled G-men to find the lost (secret) Constitution to the United States."
