I like him too, but the dude is like 5'7 or something...can't really see him being the Predator...not when he's as tall as Tom Cruise...lol.

There seems to be common agreement that Danny Trejo revealing he'll be in Predators isn't exactly ground-breaking news. Even if Robert Rodriguez isn't directing the upcoming return to the classic Fox franchise, it is a production out of Troublemaker Studios and Danny Trejo seems to have his name attached to the credits for every project out of Robert's Austin-based company.
The casting revelation came from a video interview with Punch Drunk Critics, while attending the Horrorfind Weekend in Maryland. You can check it out in the video player below. Trejo uses the word "we're" when talking about Predators, which is either the first official casting confirmation for this film or an indication of how personal the actor's kinship is to everything Rodriguez related. Both are plausible.
With preproduction well underway, director Nimrod Antal (Vacancy) has been tasked to direct from a screenplay by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch. Rodriguez is executive producing.
Predators will hit theaters July 7, 2010.

It begs the question if more of Rodgriguez's regulars will show up as well? Maybe the Predators can smoke thoughs damn Spy Kids while there at it.
Oh, I forgot to mention without the need for make-up. Just him running around as is killing people. I failed at telling my bad joke.
If they're using the same characters (can't remember if this is a remake or a reimagining or whatever), I can see Trejo stepping into Sonny Landham's role as Billy the tracker.
NO Trejo needs to be apart of the new jacked team thats going to try and kick some ass!
Now we need Stallones Expendables and we're all set.
it would make sense that he's in it...hopefully as a commando....remember the Indian that was in the original? Is he taking his place in this one? I always thought that character was cool...
He's going to be the Predator. That dude is mean enough to make it work if anybody. Or he can play mean enough. I like him. Hope he's in the movie for long and not killed early. I know now it's not a remake but I forgot for a second and imagined him as the Indian guy from the first one and thought that it would work.
