Because a month cannot go by in which some faction of the science fiction community does not conduct a poll about people's favorite STAR TREK episodes, Britain's SFX magazine has recently polled fans to find out their favorites from every era. Well, except ENTERPRISE.
As expected, the original STAR TREK episodes "City on the Edge of Forever" and "Trouble with Tribbles" topped the choices for that series, while NEXT GENERATION episodes "Best of Both Worlds Parts 1 and 2" and "Yesterday's Enterprise" took the top honors for that show, among UK readers.
DS9's entries were topped by "Trials and Tribble-ations," the 1996 sequel to TOS' tribble episode, followed by "Far Beyond the Stars." VOYAGER's generally pallid quality was confirmed with the mediocre quality of episodes ranked as it's best. They were, "Scorpion, Part 2," "Year of Hell Part 1," and "Timeless."
