yes, yes and yes !! Bring it on !
Paramount Pictures has announced plans to premiere their third trailer for Star Trek alongside the theatrical premiere of Watchmen on March 6, 2009. The studio plans to have it exclusively in theaters attached to the highly-anticipated comic adaptation during the weekend before releasing it online in HD at Apple and their official website on the following Monday (3/9/2009).
The J.J. Abrams, which goes back to its Kirk-led roots, stars John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana and Leonard Nimoy. Abrams directed the project, based on a screenplay by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.
Star Trek will hit standard and IMAX theaters May 8, 2009.
Cool, I have a feeling you'll hear about some other big movie previews to go with this one. This is the first true blockbuster of the year leading into the summer season.
Let's throw in a new Wolverine, Terminator, Harry Potter, GI Joe, Transformers 2 and Avatar trailers just to make it interesting.
Wiseguy...of all those you mentioned Avatar would be top of my list to be with Watchmen.
As if I didn't need another reason to see WatchMen. This just keeps getting better and better!
