TRIAL May Be Raimi's Next Film

The Pacifica production company is in negotiations to acquire the feature film rights to D. Graham Burnett's book A TRIAL BY JURY as a vehicle for Sam Raimi to direct and produce.
The book tells the true life story, in two parts, of the author's experience in a trial involving transvestism, male prostitution and rape. The first part focuses on the public case. The second focuses on the jury's deliberations behind closed doors.
