Trio Added to RUINS Visit

Laura Ramsey, Jena Malone and Shawn Ashmore have been cast in THE RUINS. Jonathan Tucker also stars.

The film is based on Scott B. Smith's novel. The thriller centers on a group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they accompany a fellow tourist on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.

Chris Bender and Red Hour Films' Ben Stiller & Stuart Cornfeld will produce. Filming will take place in Queensland, Australia.

I like the cast Tucker & Ashmore, but still think film is going to be nothing special. But I'll wait til a trailer is released before I make a final judgement
