The time has come, again, to list movies that need toys. Now many of these films are recent releases. Many would be more action figures or high-end collectibles rather than toys. Will some of these actually see the light of day? There are a few on this list, as with any property, where it is only a matter of time.
 
8. X-Men: First Class – Magneto

Movies which should have Toys made after them

There is just something so cool about that pre-orange and purple Magneto helmet. Take that and Michael Fassbender looks to own the role.
 
7. Hesher - Hesher

Movies which should have Toys made after them

Many movie icons get single standing figures. NECA and Mezco Toyz have made several figures like Hesher in the past. The only thing holding this, soon to be iconic, character back is a poor box office.
 
6. Rubber – The Tire

Movies which should have Toys made after them

It’s a killer tire. What more needs to be said? It could come in multiple sizes and dare I say multiple facets of its personality?
 
5. Super 8 – The Creature

We haven’t seen the creature yet (thank god), but a Cloverfield type figure cannot be far off. Perhaps the creature could bust out of the train car? Say in the vein of that old busting through the cage Hulk figure.
 
4. 13 Assassins – The 12 Samurai and the Fool

Movies which should have Toys made after them

Takashi Miike’s tale about Samurai out for justice in a 19th Century Japan is ripe for Sideshow Collectibles. Of course we would want them bloody and variants when they are not.
 
3. Hobo with a Shotgun - Hobo

This one has to be in the works. It will probably be released by NECA toys. Rutger Hauer has never been better and much like his Roy Batty character the Hobo deserves a figure.
 
2. Trollhunter – Hans

The Trollhunter himself should be complete with blood sample armor and a bucket of blood. Throw in a small Troll and a giant Troll and we are good to go.
 
1. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World – the entire cast

Mezco Toyz is has already made Scott Pilgrim in his comic book likeness. Yes, I know the movie bombed and this will probably never happen. Yet, as it is re-running on a cable I cannot help but marvel at its wonders. Perhaps there is a Comic Con exclusive box set in the distance future.

Fantastic!! I would so buy the killer tire in all it's sizes with either white walls, slicks, snow tires with those little spikes in them and I can invision a killer tire with spoked rims maybe even a moon rim...Love it lol

Alright...Now that I think about it, I seriously need a Hesher, sex slave to both hobo with a shotgun and killer tire, what good times I would have...

 Regarding most of this, I wish you had been just a tad more obscure.  What I've always wanted are action figures for "Ice Pirates".

cool list. for the hobo with a shot gun is just screaming to get the figure treatment. rubber if nothing else some one could just take a wheel from a toy trunk and make it be rubber the killer tire. xmen first class sadly hasbro stated they ran out of time to make figures. scott pilgrim think it tanking at the box office has made any chances of  some more movie merch not likely ever. comic versions maybe.

Its too bad Scott P. didnt do better. I really emjoyed it. And having a set of figures at my computer desk would be cool.
