Last weekend comic book publisher 88 MPH made a brief announcement on their website that was bad news for fans anticipating the company's TRON comic book mini-series. "We regret to announce that 88MPH will no longer be publishing TRON comic books," the website stated. "We apologize to all the TRON fans out there and thank you for your support."
88 MPH was making a comic mini-series that served as a sequel to the recently released TRON 2.0 computer game. While the first issue never hit stands, the company had been releasing artwork promoting the title a year ago. For those worried that this may mean doom for the other movie project 88 MPH had announced (a GHOSTBUSTERS comic series), the company still intends on publishing that book later this spring.
