Just watched the episode. Not bad, not enough Vampire action, not enough sex. No Naked Anna P. seriously how can they withhold naked Anna after so long?

Dude the first episode was great, questions were answered and it was a good set up! Calm down Trollman she will be naked and showing off her boy chest soon enough..lol
Although i will have to say *************Slight SPOILER***********************
im glad that dream sequence didnt actually have sam and bill kissing..i was about to vomit!
Eric rules... I guess the naked dancer and him wasn't enough nudity for some lol She was hot.
Nice appearance by the Queen. Evan Rachel Wood is MMmmm Yummie =)
Anyway great episode. Im glad they are using real wolves insted of Cgi or something totally unbelievable the end scene was great.
Can't wait for the rest of the season.
Grade - A
"I must warn you; i have fed recently"! (im not sure thats the exact line...but close to it)
Yeah the women of true blood are soo hot..except Tara (shes too muscular and manly for my taste, plus her character is annoying to me!) I hope she gets killed this season.
The first ep clearly felt like and was a set up episode for the season. They had to reintroduce all the main characters, so they didn't really have time to delve into any of them too much. Otherwise it was ok. Normally I like the writing of the show better than the books, but a few things I like better in the books. I am not sure I like Sam having a brother. I think in the books Sam knew a lot more about being a shifter than he does in the show. In the books (spoiler) he changed into a lion and f'ed up some werewolves. The books also have less Bill in them which is a plus as Eric is seriously way cooler.
I dig this show and really liked the first episode. I havent read the books... Seems like chick lit so the show is enough for me. If I'm gonna read a Vampire story its gotta be scary. This will take us near seamlessly into October when The Walking Dead starts. Being from New Jersey, Im also looking forward to Boardwalk Empire. Lotsa good TV ahead my friends!
I liked it, too, but I hate the real wolf as a werewolf thing - always have. I want my werewolves to be humanoid and/or bipedal.
I enjoyed the episode- even if it were just a set-up of what's to come.
I will agree that Sookie just seemed to be running around with not much to do. But when I think of it, how would you act if someone you know got kidnapped? She already contacted police so it's only natural (i'm assuming) for her to run around to try and figure out what to do next.
I'm actually not upset about them using real wolves for the werewolves. I actually found it to be pretty cool.
Definately looking forward to next week!
Looking forward to watching it tonight, I going thru withdraw from mind bending shows since the end of Lost.
