I also gotta say that this show is at it's best when there is absolutely ridiculousness going on.  I think that's what sets it apart.  So I hope the show doesn't get rid of that campiness now that Alan is gone.

@ddiaz28, agreeed...I to still love this show with all its flaws and subplots that seem to go no where and are forgotten with such ease, go figure ha? there has to be something that keeps bringing me back and that something is more mysterious than the death of The Stackhouse's parents in the show, interesting...

 Flaws.  Cheesiness.  Exploding vampire heads.  Loved it.  Russell's demise did feel cheap.  I understood the logic of "he was distracted by the fairy attack so he didn't notice Eric coming".  But it was a weak end to a great character.  We'll definitely be back next season.  

 I didn't like this season. It jumped around too much and didn't really focus on anything for too long. The religious zealot thing was IMO over the top. This season seemed campy and I hope we never have to see a bloody naked hairy bush again.

 I wonder what next season will be like with Billith on the loose.

I didn't like Russell's death either, but I love kick ass Jason. Do you think "Billith" will really be a villain for season 6, or will he be dealt with early to make way for Warlow?

 Cranstonator - I bet he'll be the big bad for most of it, then redeem himself against Warlow at the end.
