The first season of this show was awesome. Had a sort of "Twin Peaks with Vampires" feel.

The first half of Season 2 was cool. But when they killed off Eric's mentor, it turned into one long orgy for the last part and the story (or lack of it) quickly spiralled the drain.

I watched 4 episodes of Season 3 before finally bidding "Adieu" to Bon Temps. 

I won't return (especially after hearing the ludicrous fairy twist to Sookie's character).

Utter garbage.

 I have to say...either Eric or Bill have to die.  Eric's turn in this season really got on my nerves.  They drug it out for soooooo long.  And, Sookie, maybe she should do something besides being a fang banger.  I get that the show doesn't take itself seriously...that is its saving grace.  But, the love triangle...well, I'm bored.  

And, for gawd's sake...let a main character die and stay dead.  When you KNOW your best friend HATES vampires...why would you want to turn them into one?  Thanks biatch.  

Love triangle?  How about love quadrangle if you include Alcide

 Mellow - the fairy thing was in the books, and so was the Werepanthers thing. I really dig this series. I like the books too, but I think the series is all the better because of the changes it makes. Russell Edgington in S3 was simply awesome.

There's a bunch of stuff from the books that I think they're holding off on - there's a couple of characters that I'm dying to see show up. 

They do some dumb things though - like the incident InnerSanctum refered to.

Finally Pam may be the best female role ever written.

 tJ:  Don't forget, Sam had a thing for Sookie for the first two seasons.  He followed her around literally like a dog.  

Silent:  Did they wrap up the werepanthers story at all in the books?  I was kind of left wondering if that thread would come back,or if it was just a side story to get rid of the characters.  If anything, there are going to be a bunch of little Stackhouses running around in that junk yard.  On that note, I thought it was odd how quickly Jason jumped back in the saddle after being "raped".  

SPOILERS

 I also kept expecting something truly evil was going to happen when Jesus kept warning Lafayette that he had a darkness inside of him.  Outside of looking like a halloween mask...he didn't really do much.  I wonder if we will be seeing that demon again in this season...it didn't seem to leave its current host body.  My man, Lafayette HAS got to find a way to control his powers.  He can't continue to be taken over by ghosts.  

 Inner - yeah it ended in the books, but not well.  There's several storylines that could be interesting for them to bring in  - or could be a real train wreck. In Ball we trust I guess. Agree on Jesus, but I think we're going to see more...

 Season 4 is not an A.  

I just want Jessica to show her boobs.  Why hasn't this happened yet!?

 Hanso - the rules around this are really weird - I actually got this from GRRM discussing Game of Thrones (which is why Dani is much older in the show) - they can't show certain things if the actor or the character are underage. Since Jessica is 16 IIRC, no boobage for us.

 Did Jess show  her boobs in season 4?  When they were getting down and dirty on the couch?  I could have sworn I saw boobies.
