FUNimation has confirmed to Anime News Network comments made by a couple of voice actors back in March that the company has acquired the rights to the two Tsubasa OVA series; Tokyo Revelations and Shunraiki. FUNimation has been releasing the original TV series on Blu-ray, both in single season sets and as a full season, which makes it ideal to get fans ready for the next phase of it now after quite a hiatus since the DVD releases first finished coming out. Tokyo Revelations is a three part OVA release that came out in late 2007 throughout early 2008 while the Shunraiki release is a two part series that came out from March to May 2009. Both shows were directed by Shunsuke Tada and were considered a departure - for the better - from the TV series as the production was handled by Production I.G. instead of Bee Train. Production I.G. was also behind the Tsubasa double feature movie with xxxholic which also just saw release on Blu-ray.

No release date has yet been set nor has there been an official press release yet.
