What They Say

The Review!
Packaging A-
The packaging is good the front cover really isn't good but its still likeable. I love the Turn A
Gundam logo its really cool. The best part of the packaging is the back of the box its really good. It
just looks like a great show from the pics shown on the back. Inside the DVD is jammed with
things, such as the Turn a Journal, info card, turn a Gundam model book info card, and upcoming
DVDs insert.
Menus A-
There really isn't much to the menus just pick the episode. I give it a good grade because it moves
well. There's also a chapter selection its broken up into Opening song beginning eps/recap, eyecatch commercial part and the ending song. Pretty much like any other anime DVD. I kinda wish the menu had something cool going on but it works.

Audio A+
Oh my god! The audio is really amazing and I'm watching it off the TV. Crystal clear, loud
good, just amazing, the sound is pure excellence. Besides it sounding good Yoko Kanno did the
music so its good stuff. The opening song Turn a Turn is great but the ending song , I just love its
call Aura its my favorite next to V Gundams ending theme song WINNERS FOREVER.

Video A +
Great video. Looks great nothing wrong with video. A wonderful transfer I didn?t see any artifacts
or even any of those white lines in the four episodes then again its a fairly new show. This is why
people buy R2 over R1.

Extras B +
There is none on the disc but you get Turn A Journal I would give it a higher rating such as an A
but I can read Japanese. I'm sure within the text its great goodness like Animeigos liner notes.

Content A+
This show starts off slow in the beginning but this DVD contain episodes 25-28.So there is no
starting off slow. The story is pretty interesting, I can?t follow it perfectly since my Japanese sucks
big time. But I like what I see. The animation for this show is amazing Sunrise did a great job for a
TV series with 50 episodes in it. The mecha design is something some people complain about or
don't like. I enjoy the mecha designs when you first see them you might not like them. I was kinda
......... when I first saw them when this show barely started airing on Japanese TV but its
something new and I actually like them and I love Turn a Gundam I really like the design for
it. Starting with episode 25 its just a great episode. I love this episode especially action scene
Yoshiyuki Tomino was amazing and still is. I couldn't believe how good the fighting in this episode
was its better than movie and ova quality. This show is quality of Z Gundam. Episode 26 is okay it
kinda seems filler if you look at it and its pretty silly what happens but its also very story
based. This guy is freaking out over the Turn a Gundam figure at a parade. And calling it the white
devil. And basically gets a Mobile Suit to destroy it which is funny but its still part of the story of
how these moon people are scared of a Gundam. Episode 27 is great as well this show is definitely
doing new things as the beginning people are just doing peasant work stuff .Interesting to see
characters doing this in an anime. Also another some people didn't like about this show is the
character design I like it as well. Remember its trying to do something new with an old series. It's
working out great IMO. Back to episode 27 I said the character thing because later in the episode
there a hippie looking character piloting a mobile suit its pretty amusing because of the
character. Still another great episode. Then the last episode of the disc which is also great while I
cant understand everything in the story I?ll to watch it over to understand the story more. In the
end its a great disc. Turn a Gundam is a great series. In 2002 Bandai Ent should bring Z Gundam
and Turn A Gundam to the US. There the best two TV Gundam series besides G and fans wouldn't have to worry about a dub only release like with 0079.This is a great series, and equally good to the legendary Z Gundam. I cant wait to buy more Bandai Visual Gundam DVDs and the rest of Turn a Gundam. Great stuff
