Best news since they canceled Justice League: Mortal.  :)

 Can't say I completely agree with you GS....the first Turtles movie is still awesome after all these years. Secret of the Ooze is okay. And the final movie TMNT was a return to form, IMO. 

The various animated series over the years, I admit,  have been hit or miss. 

Sounds like they just pushed the date back.  Same thing they did to Star Trek II.  Michael Bay is getting a new group.  Thanks to Battleship, worse movie of the Decade, we'll have to wait for a Ninja Turtles movie that is actually GOOD.  Ah well.

 Agree hfc. Just seems like the date has been moved back.  At first I was getting excited and saddened at the same time.  Wishing for a new Turtles movie badly. But hated the thought of Bays putting his hands on it.

 I work in retail and everytime I catch something that's promoting Battleship (Coke comes to mind) I think, "Bwahahahaha!  What were they thinking? Couldn't they smell that dud?"

 Well, with Michael Bay in charge we most likely were going to see an epically sized April O'Neil. That might have been a plus.

Boobs so big they'd have their own weather patterns and satellites.

Michael, I want to see your plans for April before you continue on this quest of yours to bring the turtles to the big screen.

 I want this movie to happen. I just want Michael Bay to stay as far away from it as possible.
