Why not mention King of the Nerds on TBS. Its a reality show but I have watched the first 2 episodes and I liked it.

It was called Challenge of the Superheroes. I loved seeing this special as it followed the same Batman and Robin. Plus Black Canary was hot!

This site ingnores Person of Interest all together yet it is close to being a genre show. It's produced and created by Jonathan Nolan. A lot of Lost alumni appeared on this show.

It's almost like a Batman show without the cape and cowl. It has that 80s feel of non episodic star of the week story like A-team, MacGyver and Equalizer but a little more gritty.

I've been thinking Person Of Interest  is similar to The Shadow. He had agents everywhere who did different tasks and feed him information like the two cops on this series. Reese is kind of The Shadow while Finch is sort of like Burbank, the go-between for information from his agents. But that is about as far as that analogy goes.

It also felt similar to the Remo Williams/The Destroyer book series with one official field agent (Remo/Reese) who did the jobs which were feed to him from the boss (Smith/Finch) who get the assignments from computers flagging events and persons as important.

Heh. I have the Legends of the Superheroes on my fileserver. It was chessy to say the least.

Greatest American Hero is a series I could totally see being popular now, maybe even a movie. Kinda of a Kick Ass with superpowers to some degree. Either Paul Rudd, Ashton Kutcher or Seth Rogen to lead.

Errol Flynn was a complete douche for a laundry list of reasons.  Listing them all would take an entire article of its own.  With that said, it is odd that Flynn is remembered more as an anti-Semite than as a child molester and rapist.  Even my Jewish friends would likely agree that the latter is far worse than the former, unless we're talking about someone who actually WORKED at Dachau.

Of course, the same thing will happen to Mel Gibson.  He's blackballed for life as an anti-Semite, his amazing works forgotten, but meanwhile there is huge concern in Hollywood that Roman Polansky be able to escape his exile and be able to return to the U.S.  <smdh>

Darth Bob, I want to thank you for your new profile pic, BTW.  ;)

Nolan's is leagues better than Burton's on several levels; Burton's is a cartoon in comparison...which is still less in quality than the excellent Batman the Animated Series.
