I thought the SGU finale was fine.  It was an elegant solution to the problem and if the show was coming back I wouldn't be worried.  But since it isn't, I wonder if Eli fixed the final suspended animation pod or ended up taking a walk out the airlock at the end of the 2 weeks.

Hi Karas1 - Thats what bugs me.  I know it's the safe route to leave an open ended scenario but they had these control ships worked into the season story line, they also never said who, what and why those aliens took Chloe.  What was the mission of Destiny?  I'm all for using my own imagination but I'm dissapointed it went out like that.

And also on SG they had what two SG1 movies and nothing to ever be seen from the Atlantis crew.  I really wnjoyed Atlantis and thought it would have been nice to get at least a couple of TV movies for them.

And I think Eli took the airlock walk!  He likes to talk and he had no one to talk too.

Lame ending.  They had more than enough time to make some rewrites to come to a fitting conclusion and they didn't do it.  I am disappointed that for the first time since 1997 there won't be a Stargate show on the air (except reruns, I suppose).

The ending reminded me of that show Earth 2, which is another show that only got one season, but I would have loved to have seen more.

Destiny's mission was to find God.  Rush the athiest can deny it, but a signal from the creator of the universe could only come from 1 person.

The blue aliens took Chloe to do experiments on her because they were curious, about humans, about Destiny and about everything else they came across.  It's a very human motivation.

I really wanted to see more SG-1 and SGA movies too.  I guess financial reasons interfeared.  I'd still love to see them but I'm not holding my breath.

Another thing is Smallville is now the longest running North AMerican genre tv show not just in calendar but in episode total beating another S series the orginal Stargate tv series.
