I enjoyed Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter as well, but I also went into it expecting a ridiculous story.  I would love to see Seth Grahame-Smith's last novel Unholy Night translated onto the big was an amazing read and an interesting twist to the biblical telling of the birth of Christ.

The problem with Emmerich's Godzilla (other than the ridiculous notion that the U.S. military is so incompetent that we have to be saved by a covert French special forces team) is that it's called Godzilla.  Had it just been about a monster attacking NYC it would have been okay, but the name "Godzilla" carries with it a raft of expectations that were not realized in that movie.

Galaxy Quest would have been awesome with the original Trek crew.  (Not that it wasn't awesome as it was.)  However, if they had used the original crew, could you imagine all of the hate from the fans saying "they have ruined this franchise", and "that's not my Trek!"   I bet  JJ Abrams can imagine that...  :)

As it was, GQ is an awesome movie with a fresh take on an approach to a sci-fi movie.  Love that flick.

Hulk didn't suck, but not as good as The Incredible Hulk.  Still hoping Ruffalo gets a shot at a solo film.
