"beyond entertainment", indeed.

After earning $657.1 million worldwide since its release last Thanksgiving, Summit Entertainment is preparing for the home market launch to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. Check out the announcement down below.
One of the most successful films of 2011, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, will be released as a Two-Disc Special Edition DVD and a Special Edition Blu-ray on Saturday, February 11, 2012. This weekend street date allows retailers to host Friday night pre-release parties for eager fans willing to count down to midnight to purchase their copies. Participating stores will be listed at www.breakingdawn-themovie.com.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is being released more than a month earlier than previous Twilight Saga DVDs to give fans a Valentine’s Day with Edward and Jacob. “We thought the fans would love to spend Valentine’s Day watching Bella & Edward’s wedding and honeymoon. It’s really the most romantic of all the Saga films,” said T.J. Moffett, Summit’s EVP of Home Entertainment Marketing.
Already a worldwide phenomenon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, filled with action, suspense and the supernatural, has taken in over $280 million domestically at the box office.

I guess Jarrod must've seen where I "shared" the DVD cover\release date on Facebook.
At least I know I won't need pain medication after seeing it at home like I did at the theater.. Or having to deal with the drama of the theater shutting down to a popcorn popper fire.
Jarrod was totally rooting for Jacob to get him some clumsy white girl action. :)
I love the fact that the actor who plays Sam is an Oklahoma native (hello neighbor) and that one of the visiting female vamps is actually an Arkansas native (hello neighbor, again.)
