Director David Slade utilized Danny Huston for his dark vampyric adaptation of 30 Days of Night. Now the director is pulling again from the Huston clan by hiring Danny's younger nephew, Jack Huston, to co-star in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The young star has primarily been in smaller productions up until now with his biggest credit being 2008's Outlander and ABC's upcoming "Eastwick."
Jack will be joining fellow confirmed stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Xavier Samuel, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jodelle Ferland. Based on Stephenie Meyer's third novel in the series, Slade will helm the production from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. Production is set to begin soon in Vancouver.
Plot Concept: In "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will hit theaters June 30, 2010.
A new trailer for the second film, New Moon, will be appearing this weekend alongside Bandslam.

I "beyond" do not care. Unless we look at the $$$$. Now let’s talk. The first one was not that good and made bucks. The future installments will dwindle until they finish the run. It will be profitable but HP its not. The issue is that it appeals to a limited audience. The story becomes Melodrama quickly. Can’t wait until they release the one with the vampire baby. Lots of parents are not going to let "Tween" daughters see this one. Anyway good luck to them

I also sent in a scoop from, what was it, last week? -- that said Meyer was being sued for "Breaking Dawn' by some chick who doesn't want money....and she gave really bad examples of how BD ripped off her story...

Didn't post it because we frequently hear about authors getting sued by other people for "stealing" their stories. But I'll say your submission worked if you were wondering that. Hanso, was that you submitting the Naked Twilight Pic story yesterday? As if I'm not dealing with enough porn issues in our blog section, butthead. :)

My sister swooped in and handed me the first Twilight book last week. (She's reading the series for the first time and is halfway through book 2.) So I have access to the book, Starlight. It's sitting about 4 feet away from me at the moment. But I haven't brought myself to actually open the book yet.
Nah man, that wasn't me. Besides why waste my time when you ain't going to post it?

it's sad, I keep fondling Twilight on Blu Ray (and TDK to be perfectly honest) not to mention Eclipse and Breaking Dawn in hardcover as well...

I'd consider my older sis something beyond Bat Girl. I think Bat girl is a hero, right? Sooo, I'd say she's more like a villain...Poison Ivy. Indeed. Spoken like any little brother.
And one of these days I will work up the nerve to open this first Twilight book. At least I didn't have to actually buy it! Hell, it would at least give me ground to stand on. I wonder how many other Twilight haters can say the same and admit they read the book first or are just going with the crowd mentality on it sucking. (All pun intended with this post's words.)
Hah, my brother in law (sister's man) saw the book in my room last weekend and noticed it was unopened. Laughed it up saying "Is poor wittle Jarrod afraid of the Edward cooties?"
To which I almost replied..."Hey now, you won't read the books either. "
