Terrible posters

Columbia Pictures seems to be going by the policy that sometimes simple is better in terms of their movie posters. At least for their next summer pic, Men in Black 3. The studio has rolled out two new movie posters for their next installment of the comic franchise helmed by Barry Sonnenfeld. Both posters feature Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) and Agent J (Will Smith) and incorporate some of that classic illusion-style images that became popular a decade ago. The posters have also revealed a new Facebook page called TheMenInBlackSuitsAreReal.com
The third installment in the series will also star Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Nicole Scherzinger, Alice Eve and Michael Stuhlbarg. Writers Etan Cohen, David Koepp and Jeff Nathanson penned the screenplay.
Men in Black 3 arrives in 3D/2D/IMAX theaters on May 25, 2012.

Let me guess... Will Smith plays a cocky cool guy, and the other plays a more straight-laced dude. They find bad aliens and beat them.
The End.
Cool!
They're still making this movie? Bummer. I thought no news for a while may have been good news.
Nice on the posters, but the movie can't rely on goofiness to push the action. The characters should take the situations seriously, no matter how crazy the situations really are. The first MIB was great because that, but the second was really bad because everything was a joke to them. Goofiness only goes so far. Good luck to the MIB.
Maybe it's the medium it was made in, but the Will Smith poster looks like the police sketches of the Unibomber.
@Shnozalpot - so you've seen the first two. Really not expecting too much different.
@hfc - Thank you for clarifying for me my distaste of the second movie. I've never been able to put that into words and, I guess, never cared too. But you hit the nail on the head.
