Two More Ladies For THE SPIRIT

While director Frank Miller plans to begin filming THE SPIRIT today, Variety has reported two more additions to his growing cast. Jamie King will play a phantom siren named Lorelie. The second addition is Paz Vega (Spanglish) who will portray the blade wielding Plaster of Paris. They join Gabriel Macht, Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Sarah Paulson, Dan Lauria, Stana Katic, Johnny Simmons and Louis Lombardi. Production begins today in New Orleans.

Plot Concept: Centers on a man (Gabriel Macht) who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus (Samuel Jackson) -- who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face -- has a different mission: he's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront... all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill our masked crusader.

THE SPIRIT hits theaters everywhere January 16, 2009.

Paz Vega and Scarlett together?

Considering this is a movie with hot ladies as devilish villians... I feel no shame in saying this...

I hope they kiss. ;)

Boo-yah!

Gabriel Macht is one lucky SOB to be working with so many hot women! This movie's going to be a lot of fun.

maybe this movie should be retitled "the spirit of hot women"

WHOA,
I can't believe that there are not 10 post proclaiming Paz "too old".
Because she isn't and she is especially not too old for the superhero part she was born to play...
WONDER WOMAN.
No one, AND I MEAN NO ONE is better for the role of WW than this beauty. She's not some teenage skinny anorexix rib cage zylaphone playing little girl. She is a strong vouluptuous, warrior woman, WONDER WOMAN.

You can't believe they didn't because she isn't. And that makes sense to you, gauleyboy420. Read that back to yourself. What the hell are you trying to say?
Oh and yes she's hot.

I didnt know the real Wonder Woman has a latin accent? Maybe Paradise Island is off the cost of Tiajuana, Mexico? And if we are playing Tiajuana rules, well remember that in Tiajuana I make the rules. And starring Brock Samson as Aquaman.

Why don't they just call this movie Bootie Call 2 and get over it already??? So far the casting of this movie has been a casting couch lover's delight.

Let's remember that WW isn't American or English either. If anything she's more closely related to a Greek background,so an accent would be more than acceptable. That is assuming that Paz can pull off that accent.
