Two New Clips for X-FILES 2

20th Century Fox has unleashed two new video clips for their upcoming sequel X-Files: I Want to Believe courtesy of Yahoo. The sequel has the return of leading stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson and co-stars Xzibit, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, Callum Keith Rennie and Adam Godley. Showrunner Chris Carter directs the feature film, based on a screenplay that he co-wrote alongside fellow executive producer Frank Spotnitz.

Plot Concept: The film takes the complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

X-Files: I Want to Believe will hit theaters July 25, 2008.

I'm just so perplexed as to how this can be called I Want To Believe but not have anything to do with the UFO stuff.

I still care enough to be there though.

The problem for me is twofold. 1. I'm only moderately interested (and the trailer doesn't deliver enough plot to change that), and 2. I will definitely have seen 3 movies in the previous 4 weeks if not more.
