Looks like one of the most famous movie quotes of all-time is making its way into Terminator Salvation. It just won't be coming from the lips of a killer machine bent on the destruction of mankind. If you were watching the NBA playoffs this weekend, you likely saw the two new TV spots for the upcoming Warner Bros. release. Check them out in the video players below.

This fourth installment into the popular franchise stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Moon Bloodgood, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common, Jane Alexander and Helena Bonham Carter.

Plot Summary: The highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise is set in post-apocalyptic 2018. John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future that Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Terminator Salvation will hit theaters May 21, 2009.

I love the whole idea that Sam Worthingtons character had no idea that he was a machine, it adds a whole other element to this movie I was not expecting...Looking forward to this one big time...

Wolverine opened with a 87million weekend. This will blow it out of the water with a huge NUKE.  95million!

Can't wait for it either.

They should run TV spots that say:

If you do not see this movie, Christian Bale will verbally abuse you.

I think Trek and HP will open bigger than Terminator. Overall, though, this is going to be one big boffo summer for box office receipts!

You think Night at the Museum 2 will cut into its receipts, fft? Curious on your prediction there because usually Memorial Day openers have the best odds. Or July 4th debuts depending on the line-up.

I really want to see alot of the new movies this summer , but  WHY in the hell are they like 1 to 2 weeks after each other . In the past they played fair so each were spread apart so each made its money . Now so many in 3 weeks . then they bitch , saying we didnt make money off TERMINATER , duhhhhh its cuz STAR TREK opened a week before !!!!!!! Hollywood has no brains .....suprised, NO    !

fft5305 5/5/2009 11:51:43 AM

?? Where did you get that, Jarrod? Oh, I think I see. No, I think Terminator will open big. I just think Trek & Harry Potter will be bigger. Based solely on my own relative feelings on the movies, and reactions I've seen/heard from fans & non-fans alike. Purely conjecture. And I will gladly eat my words, should I prove to be wrong.
