When reflecting upon Michael Bay's previous two installments of Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks' Transformers franchise, two visual memories will likely include Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) running for his life amidst chaos while another includes military men dealing with an explosive situation. That being the case, the two studios have revealed two new screenshots for this summer's Transformers: Dark of the Moon which involve both examples happening once again. Check them out below courtesy of

The 3D-shot third installment stars LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, John Turturro, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong and Kevin Dunn. Bay was once again behind the camera based on a screenplay by Ehren Kruger.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon will invade 3D/2D/IMAX theaters July 1, 2011.

Yes, we all know Michael Bay can make KABOOM BOOM.   I would like to see more robot photos.

But, seriously. It looks very Michael Bay-ie. It should do alright. Just no more Decepticon ball$ dangling please, Mr. Bay.

No you will see this movie. I can see through your pretentious smoke screen! If you saw the other 2 then you will see this one. lol

Two explosions just in case anyone forgot who's directing.

I'll be there opening day but it's funny how low this ranks compared to THOR, CAPTAIN AMERICA, Green Lantern and even X-Men First Class

When Megan Fox came a few months ago and said the 2nd movie wasn't that good, people were ready to murder her and attacked her for no reason. When Michael Bay says ok, yet the movie sucked, he was praised as being honest and understanding. No apologies to fox, no comments, nothing...

I will see this movie because I'm sure they will try to make it way better then the last one...just a shame Megan fox won't be part of it, she was honest about it, she doesn't need to be the best actress in the world to be in this type of movies and yet she's the one being accused of crap...

Crazy world I tell you...

I enjoyed the second movie, it may pale in comparison to Black Swan or The King's Speech and other oscar fav's but it made me  laugh, made me blink and held my attention.  I got the theatre experience I paid for.  Ididn't get the warm and fuzzies or soul shattering experience the haters seem to need to live every day but I doubt I'll ever seek that  from a movie like this.  The 3rd one will likely not disapoint me, if it disapoints some of the more pretentious Bay haters out there then I least I'll be happy knowing they are sufferring a little about thier super negative experience that had them running out of the theatres and screaming for Michael Bay's head on a light-sabre.  You think Aronofski passed on these too and just  never told anyone?

Darkknight2280 3/31/2011 7:41:24 AM

Michael Bay is a succesful film maker 90% of his movies are blockbuster money makers. Not sure why the hate...oh yeah people love to hate on success. Not everyone is a Chris Nolan or a Arnofsky or (insert any other critically acclaimed directors name). Just like we all cant be the CEO's of the companies we work for.

peak37pt 3/31/2011 7:49:02 AM

How cool would it be if Bay and Aronofsky made a film TOGETHER. They would meet in the middle! Or kill each other.

Michael: I think our character should be running away from something here.

Darren: No, I think he should be THINKING about running away, but really just staring at the sky.

*The two directors glare hatefully into each other's eyes*
