Tyler takes role in Smith's JERSEY?

Liv Tyler is in talks to take a role opposite Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in Kevin Smith's new film, JERSEY GIRL.
The film, not one of Smith's famous Askewniverse movies (CLERKS, DOGMA, JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK among them) centers on a man's (Affleck) marriage to a new wife (Lopez) and his interactions with her 6-year-old son. If she took the role, Tyler would be playing an ex-girlfriend of Affleck. George Carlin has already signed-on as Affleck's father.
