The Wire is so much win man.  I think Season 4 of that show may be the greatest thing ever created on television.  No joke.  I wish the series would come out on blu ray but sadly it seems it never will.

 I saw a local video store here in my town that buys and sells DVD's has the entire run of The Wire for less than $100...might have to think about that.

 This doesn't bode well for oscar does it?

 Well there goes my theory of Daryl's story arc taking over for what Tyreese would have added to the show. 

 I never saw The Wire, but everyone's comments are encouraging.  I also remember Hanso's glowing praise for The Wire a few years ago.

I'm just excited for the addition of new characters to the show (though this undoubtedly means that more will be killed off to make room for him - lol).

Season one and two are my favorites of the Wire... You should also checkout Oz on HBO - That sh!t is RAW!

Speaking of the split from the comic... i guess the stuff that happened in the prison won't happen on the TV version? And like someone else said I wonder if Tyreese's daughter is going to be on the show too?
