Manga Entertainment UK offered up some tasty tidbits for UK anime fans this morning on their Twitter feed. Three new licenses with DVD release plans is definitely good news for this market which is finding itself even worse off than the US market since they're even more reliant on dubbed work. Sub-only releases are growing in the US which cuts down on what can be brought over as the buying public there hasn't given in to those kinds of titles for the most part. So what does Manga UK have in store?
"OK, it's official. Manga has picked up Kamui Gaiden for release on DVD and Blu-ray on 2nd August. Hopefully a theatrical run in late June!"
"And Manga has acquired Sengoku Basara (Samurai Kings) episodes 1-11 for release on DVD on 4th October. Shoul be streaming before then."
"FMA Brotherhood Episodes 1-13 is also now officially scheduled for release on DVD on 23rd August. Free streaming on www.manga.co.uk soon."
"God it is a big news day today! By popular demand, "Ah! My Goddess Season 2" will be released in 3 2-disc sets: May, Jul, Sep."
