You know the show sucks right?  Slap in the face for Spider-man fans.  Don't care if it's for little kids.  Little kids can understand or learn how to deal with real Spider-man stories.  Kids are smarter than we think.

I'm digging it. I have no problem with throwing the younglings a bone. This reminds me a bit of the Teen Titans toon with all the goofy stuff thrown in in between. So although not great it has been growing on me

I agree WG. I was a bit put off to begin with, but am really enjoying it now. Fun show.

I'm with Dazzler on this.

Ugh. Pass.

This show is on Disney.  It's for kids.  If you don't like it change the channel.  I will take Spider Man cartoons however I can take them.  I remember when MTV tried to take a more adult approach to Spider Man and everyone complained about how much it sucked.

I'm trying to figure out what Spider Man cartoons people used to watch because they have all been silly.  Marvel Mash Up is funny as hell by the way.

I don't see where all the hate comes from for this show. I really like it. Sure, it's a different take on spider-man GASP! but that's cool, a fresh new take. It's 10000000000000 x better than the 90's cartoon. I liked Spectacular SM a little better, but this show has things it didn't. A full A -LISt supporting cast, and HUMOR.

Isn't that what everyone here is always griping about with SM movies, cartoons, ect...? that there isn't enough humor in them, well this has it. PLUS it's a great show for kids to get introduced to Spider-Man and the Marvel U without having to be that terrible Marvel Superhero kids show from a few years back.

Had to make my first bit on comments including Wiseguy and Dazzler! U guys are epic supporters of this site!

I too had misgivings about Ult Spiderman being so goofy, but it grew on me. Not all cartoons can be dank and edgy, Spiderman deserves a lighthearted effort. CardinalSin is kinda right, as most Spiderman toons are slightly silly, but not to this level. And the Spidey toon of the early 90's was pretty serious in tone and lasted a while.

And I LOVE the Marvel Mash Ups... Hulk and Rick Jones smash through random metal doors and Hulk yells, "SCHOOLS OUT!" "Later teachers!" hilarious

I think it's kind of lame but still watchable and it does have its enjoyable parts.  I do like the roster of characters we see in it.  And Thor's costume here is the cool new bad ass one. Love it.

I have yet to see this show yet, but just by looking at the trailer here I can see just how stupid it is and why people are complaining. 1 minute 7 seconds was all it took, go figure!!!

There's nothing about that clip that says the show sucks or that it's even worth dismissing.

gauleyboy, 10000000 x better than the 90's version? Last time I checked the 90's spider-man is a most wanted dvd from fans. Marvel put out x-men and then iron man and left spider-man alone. Marvel is asked about this at virtual every animation panel at the cons. I thought it was really good. Hope it eventually does come to dvd.

Ultimate and Spectacular are good too. I enjoyed them both and I also have the mtv complete series. I really don't undertand the hate for ultimate as it serves as a spring board for using the marvel U in the show. Plus he has some kick-ass supporting characters (luke cage, iron fist, nova).
