For many, Uncharted was and still is an amazing experience, easily one of the best games on the PlayStation 3 almost a year and a half after it hit. It'd be one hell of an understatement to say that the game is being looked forward to by PS3 owners, and though we know something was coming when we were invited down to LA for "Sony's Gamers' Day and Uncharted 2 Preview Event." It was the only game actually mentioned by name.
Now we know why: the multiplayer rocks. Hard.
Given the chance to first play through an entire three-player co-op mission, then take a crack at the game's Team Deathmatch and Plunder (Capture the Flag where the flag is a big idol that can be thrown short distances), we spent hours gobbling up every last scrap of information about what Naughty Dog would be working on, including over a dozen new screens. Yes, the internet rumors are true, but what they couldn't convey was just how much fun the modes really were.
