Universal acquires "Fiasco Heights"

According to Variety, Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to the upcoming thriller, Fiasco Heights.
The film, which will be produced by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes from a script by Kyle Ward, occurs in a stylized hyper-real noir environment akin to that of Sin City and centers on a notorious hitman who teams with a failed private eye in search of a missing woman and an invaluable briefcase.
No word on casting or a possible director as of yet.
