Universal Pictures and Marc Platt Productions have hired screenwriter Michael Bacall to adapt the comicbook SCOTT PILGRIM'S PRECIOUS LITTLE LIFE by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
The first in a three-part series published by Oni Press, follows "a suburban slacker who finds himself in a kung fu tale, battling his dream girl's seven evil ex-boyfriends to win her hand."
SHAUN OF THE DEAD's Edgar Wright is set to direct.
