Universal Grabs Sci Fi Comedy Pitch

Universal has snagged an untitled comedy-adventure-sci fi pitch made by writer Dan Schneider.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the potential film is described as being in the vein of BACK TO THE FUTURE. It will tell the story of a group of disenfranchised teenagers who must save the world from an alien menace.
Tollin/Robbins Prods. (SMALLVILLE) are attached to produce the film.
