I've heard that the two seasons of Gantz for example will be $40 list and that Cromartie may be a $20 list.

Through contact with a number of contacts within Best Buy, we've learned that there will be a special exclusive for the stores during the month of July that's being done with ADV Films. The two companies have put together a series of releases at very low prices that are going to be exclusive to the stores throughout the month. We have confirmed this with Chris Oarr from ADV Films that the event will be happening and that these are exclusive to Best Buy. The releases won't show up on the Bestbuy.com site as it is an in-store exclusive only and that's just while supplies last as it's a limited quantity run. We have learned from a few on the inside that the first set that's due to hit tomorrow is already in hand and that they appear to be heavy chipboard thinpak type collections and not STACKpacks. We've also double checked a few of the UPC codes we've gotten and they do not mirror previous releases.
Below is the confirmed list we have with release dates and the new UPC codes.

Nothing for me unfortunately. I already bought most of those during their initial singles release.
Hmmm how old are these I've been around in anime world for about oh ten years now and I haven't heard of most of these...
@ zaldar: They've all been out for a while. If you like either fanservice or mecha, I'd recommend Godannar. Maburaho's fairly fun harem hijinks.
Kinda wondering why they're bothering to do any releases under the ADV label when the company no longer exists in a meaningful way. They've already split it up into a bunch of mini-companies, effectively killing the label. What is the point of releasing anything under the ADV label instead of section23 or whatever the hell the new label is?
And it's all older series that most of us have bought. Most if not everything on that list has already had a first release and a second, a few on there have had more. If they wanted to do LEs, why not do them for their NEW licenses under their NEW label?
Any word on what kind of prices we're looking at?
