Update: New KNIGHT Poster, Trailer Online Monday

By: Jarrod Sarafin
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2008

Update: There's been a few updates for the viral site below, one of which clearly says the new trailer will be premiering on Monday. As said earlier, when the trailer pops up online, we'll pass the word along.

Original: The fan goodies keep on coming for Nolan's upcoming The Dark Knight, courtesy of their many viral websites. The latest movie poster for the highly anticipated film hit the web today thanks to the biggest viral site of them all, WhySoSerious.

We may also have received a clue on when the latest trailer---which premiered at the NYCC last weekend---appears online for the fans. The site says "Four days".

When the trailer does pop up online, we'll pass it along. In the meantime, click on the photo below to check out the poster.

The latest DARK KNIGHT Poster revealed from WhySoSerious.com(2008).

Glad to see the viral stuff getting some coverage here in Mania finally. The poster looks great. The Joker is going to be tearing up the film, can't wait. The Dark Knight owns all!!

First, Batman wouldn't blow up a building, so it blowing up in a "bat symbol" just doesn't make any sense on many levels. Joker standing in front of the building doing it would be great, with his sense of ironic style. But my first impression was the "look", which to me was a ripoff of the "Punisher" icon of burning cars from the Thomas Jane version of the flick.

Looks awesome! I don't think they have enough names above the title though...

Yeah, the fire symbol thing should have really stopped after Brandon Lee did it in The Crow. Maaaaaad high expectations for this movie.

Love that poster. IronMan will own the spring and Batman will own the summer..... This may be the best year for comic book movies ever.

I loved Batman Begins and this one looks ten times better. I just couldn’t help to notice that in some scenes of the first one (i.e. when Batman lifted up that corrupted police) Batman sounded like the cookie monster (Swear to MEEE!).
