It seems we have more time to discuss Quentin Tarantino's upcoming WWII film Inglorious Bastards. A day after it was Eli Roth was circling the role of Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, the latest news is that "The Office" star/writer B.J Novak is in talks to play PFC Utivich, a character described as a soldier of slight build who comes from New York.
Update: Brad Pitt has been officially confirmed today to play Aldo Raine, leader of a rogue band of Jewish-American soldiers who wreak havoc on the bad guys in Nazi-occupied France.
Producer Lawrence Bender said casting should be complete in about a week or two. Production will begin in Europe this fall so they can possibly premiere the film at Cannes in May 2009.
