what the hell is this, some kind of Rorshach test?

okay, I'll play along.....Grim Reaper.....

but, seriously, this 75% abstract image is odd....I see what looks like a warp nacelle, what does possibly look like a cloaked figure......and Vanessa Hudgens and her "joy toy of sublime happiness"

but then again I am visually impaired...

StarlightGuard 3/28/2009 4:58:11 PM

oh yeah, and these images will self destruct or skip it pages are really annoying

plus the commercials that literally pop out of nowhere no matter where you click

yes Jarrod and the rest of Mania needs to bring in the dough to earn their checks, but....well...I don't have a solution, I just know it's annoying

xenomorph 3/28/2009 5:42:27 PM

Seriously Jarred, get rid of the damn popup.

Seriously Xeno, STFU!

Starlight...If you have not tried it already, get Firefox and then get the addons called Adblock and NoScript and you will never have a problem ever again with popups and such...You control what is aloud to be seen at each site you go too, for the most part you just allow the site to run it's scripts so you can view it and not allow it's advertisers the chance to annoy you lol...I have used it for a long time now and have never had any problems...

laforcer69@yahoo.com_home 3/28/2009 7:04:48 PM

Almost forgot...The poster is a little odd but still cool in a round about way, I don't know...

p.s. Xeno, seriously STFU!

Speaking of TRek posters did anyone sign up for the STar TRek posters at COmic Con? I did and never got them. Thet were sopposed to mail them to me.  PAAAARAMOUNT!!!!!!

laforcer69@yahoo.com_home 3/28/2009 7:57:21 PM

Movielord...Those Bastards! I of course did not go to Comic Con, are they one of the posters they are advertising the movie for or one made specifically for Comic Con? I would lawyer up if I were you and bring a class action law suit down on there weasle heads or you can forget about it and just look back with fond memories and how you had a blast at the event...My theory, I think someone in your family or maybe even your next door neighbor pretended to be you and when the mail came to drop it off and now it's hanging up in their room...Not a good theory but you might want to check into it, just in case lol...

My only complaint so far has been the movie posters.  Saying this is the best one isn't saying a lot.  That one where they have Kirk on a bike in the background...wtf kind of message was teasing you about the movie?

Not a hater on the movie..looking forward to it but they could have done better job with the movie posters.  I have a few framed movie posters hanging in my basement (only place the mrs. will let me put them) and I have no desire to add any of these to my wall.

darkheart00 3/28/2009 11:42:02 PM

Yeah, looking forward to this film but the print campaign has been less than spectacular. The most recent theatrical trailer they released was money though.

What an underwhelmingly boring poster.  I liked the ealier ones better.
