Updated Again: New 'Dark Knight' viral site does not reveal new trailer

There's an email circulating with the header '"Dark Knight Trailer 3" and pointing fans to what may be the next 'Dark Knight' viral site: ClownTravelAgency.com.

The site displays a battered, world-traveled suitcase sitting on top of a manila envelope that bears the words "Departure Date 4-01".

Does this mean a new Dark Knight Trailer is coming today? Or is it just an elaborate April Fool's joke sprung on unwary webmasters? We'll find out soon! Fans are encouraged to check the site around noon ET.

UPDATED: The site has now been updated, replacing the simple image described above with a new Flash contraption. The manila envelope is now open and visitors can click on it to take them to a new page. There you will find the following message:

Ready to have a ball?

A special bag of fun awaits the first to claim it, but you'd better strike fast. There's no time to spare!

Holy bowling alley, Batman!

Clicking that note takes you to a travel itinerary loaded with a number of destinations around the world. It appears each one is a bowling alley in a US or UK city. The list is gradually filling in with new locations as fans claim their prizes. Check and see if your city is coming up and get ready to roll!

UPDATE #2: The passport card on the site has been completely stamped, which means all of the bowling bags have been claimed. The Joker now offers this new message:

Good job, Clowns!

You've proven you're kingpin material, so I've got a job that's right up your alley.

Head over to www.acmesecuritysystems.com/delos and see if you can disable a certain alarm system for me.

The password is: Needle

Be sure not to use a phony email address.

It'll be OK? I promise.

And fans who fill out the form at the Acme Security site will get special reward. Bear in mind that "special reward" takes on a different meaning on April 1st.
