Microsoft Canada announced today updates to the Canadian launch plans for the upcoming Xbox system.

Beginning on November 8th, the Xbox will be available across the North American continent, with a list of 15-20 game titles to be available at launch. This marks the first time Microsoft has confirmed any of it's launch games. Titles included are HALO, ODDWORLD: MUNCH'S ODDYSEEY, PROJECT GOTHAM RACING, AMPED, DEAD OR ALIVE 3, MAD DASH RACING, and NASCAR HEAT. According to Ryan Mugford, Marketing Lead -Xbox, Microsoft Canada Co, "Xbox, the most powerful and easiest game platform to design for, allows game designers to finally realize their true creative visions for games. The combination of power and creative talent means that on November 8th and beyond, Canadian consumers will experience a new level of game play."

The Xbox will be available in both the United States and Canada on November 8th.
