The mind-blowing saga that began in Marvel’s The Avengers continues in ABC’s action-packed series, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — The Complete First Season.
In the wake of The Battle of New York, the world has changed forever. An extraordinary landscape of wonders has been revealed! In response, mysteriously resurrected Agent Phil Coulson assembles an elite team of skilled agents and operatives: Melinda May, Grant Ward, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons and new recruit/computer hacker Skye. Together, they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. But every answer unearths even more tantalizing questions that reverberate across the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe: Who is "The Clairvoyant”? What is Hydra’s sinister master plan; what dark secret lies behind Skye’s puzzling origins, and most importantly of all, who can be trusted?

Looking forward to eventually getting it, but since i saw every episode when they aired, won't be a day 1 purchase. Will rather focus on season 2.

Yea I'm not buying it until its discount basket time or smething, or maybe never if they put it on Netflix.  Do love the show though and looking forward to a second season and hopfully many more.

Gonna wait for a box set myself. I agree w/most all that Season 1 started great, fizzled then came back at the end. I'm sure season 2 will be MUCH better. But, I definitely want to add this series to my Marvel Collection, just hoping it goes the distance and we can have maybe a Season 1-5 box set (or 1-10 would be better, but will obvioiusly depend on if Marvel can keep the interest up to continue to get it renewed). *Crossing Fingers*

I think I'll pass on collecting the DVDs of this show.  It's been okay.  Started extremely slow and finally got pretty good in the second half of the second of the season.  I'll keep watching but don't really feel it has that 'rewatchability' the movies have.
