Director Marcos Efron has two more thespians on board the remake thriller And Soon the Darkness, says The Hollywood Reporter. Karl Urban and Oscar nominee Adriana Barraza (Babel) will join fellow cast members Amber Heard and Odette Yustman in an update of the 1970 thriller. The project is Marcos' directorial debut. The original was set in France but this modern version will shoot in Argentina.
Plot Concept: The thriller follows two American girls on a bike trip in a remote part of the country. When one of them disappears, the other must find her before darkness falls and her worst fears are realized.

Never saw the original film but the plot sounds like it could make for a fun thriller.
