It's about time Leon S. Kennedy appeard in the RE movies.
Just a few days after Johann Urb was confirmed as one of three new additions to the Resident Evil: Retribution---the upcoming fifth installment of Screen Gems' film franchise---lead star Milla Jovovich has once again gone to her Twitterverse and revealed to followers that he'll be playing a character that gaming fans know very well. As in the 2012 star will be playing the role of Leon Kennedy, the character which appeared in the second Capcom game and eventually led the fourth tale as well.
It's also the second confirmation that elements from the fourth game will be included in the next film after Jovovich previously revealed that Ada Wong and the Las Plagas virus will be incorporated into the fifth movie.
As it is right now, the cast for Resident Evil: Retribution includes Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Colin Salmon, Michelle Rodriguez, Shawn Roberts, Johann Urb, Oded Fehr, Kevin Durand and Boris Kodjoe. Returning franchise director and producer Paul W.S. Anderson is at the helm, based on a screenplay he penned.
