The tension never builds like it should and that is the disappointing part for me. There is soo much hope and opportunity, but they can't make it stick. And when it is time for the shot, she is on the phone...the only person on a phone. HELLO!!!

Okay, so we’re on the fifth episode of V, which is the halfway point of the second and – most likely – the final season (remember, those geniuses at ABC shortened the number of episodes from 13 to 10) of this re-imagining of the 1980s series. The episode dragged at first in the beginning, which is why it got a B–; however, it set things up beautifully for the rest of the season by moving things forward.
Next week promises to be a much better episode as Lisa (Laura Vandervoort) finally meets her grandmother (Jane Badler) and Hobbes brutally beats Ryan for his betrayal. The creators probably realize this series is on the endangered list and are pulling out all the stops to finish their story.

I agree "Concordia" started out a bit slow but did pick up rapidly. Could this be because the writers know their days are numbered? There has been buzz that eposode 2:10 will be a cliffhanger. Could mean a TV Movie finale. (Remember Alien Nation?) It was inevitable that Lisa and Diana would meet and form an alliance against Anna. Diana this time out is a Good 'V' or at least has much more respect for humans then her daughter. What I don't get is how Ryan is so completely fooled by Anna's obvious manipulations. Perhaps human emotions are indeed too dangerous to the 'V's.
