While the final episode of the first season of the manga series Vampire Knights will be airing next week in Japan, the official website for the series has announced that the second season is expected to begin broadcasting on TV Tokyo this October. The site is also saying that a web radio show will also premiere on July 7, which has voice actors Mamoru Miyano, Daisuke Kishio, Susumu Chiba, Junichi Suwabe, and Suichiro Hoshi playing their fictional counterparts Zero Kiryƫ, Kaname Clan, Takuma Ichiju, Akatsuki Kain and Senri Shiki.
The print version of the manga series has already been hitting North American shelves since last year by Viz Media.
Plot Concept: Matsuri Hino's original manga about Cross Academy, a school where the student body is divided into the "regular" Day Class and the "elite" Night Class. Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster, is one of the few people in the entire school who knows that the Night Class students are vampires.
