Bay Talks TRANSFORMERS 2 and Horror Remakes - Jul 17, 2008 - 04:06pm
evilbeagle - popa isn't saying that Transformers were around before Star Wars, he's saying that this type of film would not have been taken as seriously in the pre Star Wars world.

Stan Winston Passes Away at 62 - Jun 18, 2008 - 08:03pm
Damn, i haven't been on the net for awhile now and i log onto this. Damn, the film making world has lost one of its geniuses. RIP Stan

Raimi Wants to Direct SPIDER-MAN 4? - Jun 09, 2008 - 04:13pm
I already put in my two cents bout the spidey films in a cpl recent posts, however i was looking forward to someone else taking over, but if sony let's raimi be this time instead of forcing him to do what they want (hopefully after IM they would see their faults) and the script is solid, then these next two films will be really good, and i can't wait to see what they come up with.

Plot Details Emerge for BLOODY VALENTINE - Jun 05, 2008 - 06:00pm
Why 3D? Every recent film i've seen where they've encorproated 3D has been annoying and crud. 3D films are useless.

First Images Appear for PAINTBALL - Jun 05, 2008 - 05:55pm
Jokesover, that is exactly what i thought when i heard bout this. Eh, even the worst horror flick is entertaining in some way or another.

TRANSFORMERS 2 Has a New Title & Set Details - Jun 05, 2008 - 05:51pm
I'm with you guys on the identity thing, but really, if there were giant frickin robots fightin and transformin in the streets, you wouldn't be able to tell what the bloody hell was goin on! Not to mention you'd be runnin for your frickin life, not sittin on the roof with a beer tryin to tell each robot apart.

Favreau Talks About IRON MAN 2 - Jun 05, 2008 - 05:46pm
Get ova Spider-man already. Jeebus. It's obvious Raimi was pressured into a lot of stuff with Spidey 3 by Sony and other ppls grubby little hands (too many cooks), something which Favreau didn't have to deal with as Marvel was the sole developer of IM, meaning they can develop the film life of their charcters in the way they see fit. Which so far is the best thing that could have happened for this the rest of their catalogue. So IM2 is going to be bigger and better than the 1st, coz who knows the characters and their stories better than the people who created and own them.

Burton Directing Depp in DARK SHADOWS - Jun 05, 2008 - 12:22am
I don't care what it is, you tell me Depp and Burton in the same sentence and i'm there. I really couldn't care less if people are sick of Burton's style or the fact he works with Depp a lot, if you're that against it, don't watch it. Del Toro can thank Burton for paving the way for him.

New Photos for DRAGONBALL Cast - Jun 04, 2008 - 02:25am
I've always had faith in this film, sure it might not be a huge blockbuster, but i think it will be fairly decent. Stephen Chow's Kung Fu Hustle was a perfect example of an anime brought to life and with him producing i'm excited. Plus it sounds to me they aren't even taking the tv series into consideration for this, i've noticed they always refer to the manga books when talking about the source material. I say bring this on, then bring on some DBZ storylines, i've been waiting forever to see Vegeta on the big screen.

EMILY Comic Getting Adapted to Theaters - Jun 01, 2008 - 02:23am
Yea, i'll do that bashing :) I'm sorry, but besides a few little things, the Spidey films were bloody excellent. I know there's a few people here who agree with me but most just seem to jump on the 'i hate the spider-man movies' bandwagon, and to be honest i haven't heard one really good argument for why; only pissin 'n' moanin. BTW, if it wasn't for Spidey we wouldn't have gotten the awesomeness that was Iron Man and the now open door for many lesser know properties that are really good to get a chance at a big screen outing. If they are going to take the comic/graphic novel adaptations seriously and at least try to make a good film, then i say saturate away!

Marvel Bringing the RUNAWAYS to Theaters - May 22, 2008 - 11:36pm
'MrJawbreakingEquilibrium' i second how cool it is that Marvel is placing their films in the same universe. Not only does it allow awesome cameos, like we got in Iron Man and 'will' get in Hulk, but it makes the films themselves a bigger entity which makes for bigger stories with everything situated in the same 'world'. That makes sense right? :) And oh yea, a BKV script directed by Whedon based on Runaways.....i am there.

NYCC: Marvel Legends Action Figures - Apr 30, 2008 - 11:52pm
These figs still look like shit!! Hasbro has sniped this line right thru the temple! They have not improved one bit since the god awful rubbish they coughed up in series 1. Give the line back to toybiz and make it respectable again.

Exclusive: New INDY Trailer For Iron Man? - Apr 30, 2008 - 11:46pm
The new trailer was with Iron Man, not a great one either. However, Iron Man was the shit! I'm actually quite prepared to say that it's the best comic to film adaptation we've seen so far. Favreau is a legend. BTW, if any of you haven't seen it yet make sure you stay till the end credits......you won't be disappointed ;)

Heroes Toys R Us Exclusive Figures - Apr 20, 2008 - 03:27am
I mean no disrespect, but since when does Hiro have down syndrome.

Cinema Of Fear 7inch Series 3 - Apr 20, 2008 - 03:25am
Sigh, these figures just reinforce my opinion that Mezco suck.

Fifth TV Spot for IRON MAN - Apr 11, 2008 - 02:21am
Hell yeah! That's the first time i've seen the majority of that footage. Everytime i see new footage from this film i get more and more excited. I think i'm actually more excited to see Downey Jr's cameo in Hulk than the actual Hulk flick, but i'm super pumped for Iron Man. Bring that shit on.

NECA Unveils TMNT New York Comic Con Exclusive - Mar 26, 2008 - 03:08am
These figs are kick ass! NECAs sculptors absolutley nailed the design of the turtles from the original comics. I really hope they continue the series with other characters.

Ian McKellen Responds to HOBBIT Prequels - Mar 26, 2008 - 02:49am
Hear Hear. Bring on the hobbitses.

Julie Benz Toplines SAW V - Mar 26, 2008 - 02:44am
I'm really glad things are goin well for Benz. She was one of my fav characters on Buffy n Angel, and her body of work keeps on getting better. Good on her i say :)......i'm tired.

No More FANTASTIC FOUR?? - Mar 26, 2008 - 02:39am
Alba can bugger off for all i care, she was the worst casting decision ever made. They should of kept with Lara Cox, from what i heard she was in contention for Sue as well.

Dark Horse and Universal Sign Deal - Mar 15, 2008 - 03:48am
How about a Buffy film? Season 8 from DH has been fantastic. Also what ever happened to those proposed Angel tv movies? Could this deal spark Whedon to possibly revist the buffyverse on film? I know i'd like to see it :) I know there is rights issues and all that involved, but we can hope.

HEROES Toys: Series 2 & 3 - Feb 19, 2008 - 11:49pm
These figures are absolute garbage. Put some effort in people. Disgusting. Mezco needs to stop making figures based on actual peoples liknesses; or hire some talented sculptors.

STAN HELSING Spoofing Monster Flicks - Feb 10, 2008 - 06:38pm
What is with all these spoofs comin out now? I know they were kinda all over the place back in the day, then they pretty much disappeared for a while and Scary Movie started em up again, but even so they were still few and far between. Now it seems they're all over the place again. Have i missed something? Coz, as some of you have mentioned, Date Movie and Epic Movie were utter poo! When did they decide that just copying scenes straight outta other films, without even really adding anything excpet some goofy idiot saying the exact same dialogue as the original, is comedic? I'm all for spoofs, and there have been some genuinely funny scenes in most of the new films, but that's just it....a few scenes, if they applied that creativity to the whole film they would be a helluva lot better, instead of just rehashing other films scenes thinking it's funny. I really hope this new slate of spoofs can deliver. Anyway, my 2 cents.

BRUCE WAYNE Getting Shelved? - Feb 05, 2008 - 05:09pm
I know this story was posted a while ago, and prob no-one looks at it anymore, but the current Previews has the new storyline for Batman starting in April titled "Batman R.I.P.".

WB Planning Tie-in Bonanza for SPEED RACER - Jan 27, 2008 - 03:19pm
HA, that's funny. Sounds like somethng the guys in Tijuana offer you to go inside their clubs. 'Hey man, you come inside i give you some speed racer man'. Last time i was there i got offered some guys sister. Anyway, i'm not holding my breath either for this film from what i've seen from the trailer, but i did like to watch Speed occasionally when i was young, so maybe i'll give it a go on dvd.

Edward Norton: "Utterly Unrelated" to Previous HULK - Jan 24, 2008 - 12:27am
Jeez, i'm not even from the states and i want to vote.

Two New CHUCK Episodes Air Tomorrow - Jan 24, 2008 - 12:19am
I'm hoping that this show gets some play here in oz soon, i've been hearing good things. I was on the WB backlot when they were filming some scenes of a window exlpoding out into the street, was pretty cool. And there were all these extras walkin round with head wounds, cuts, blood etc. Would be interesting to see the ep they were filming.

Update: Ledger's Autopsy Is Inconclusive - Jan 22, 2008 - 11:52pm
It will be hard, but i too will spend tonight watching some of Heaths greatest roles. I don't know if you guys in the states have the film Two Hands? But i definately recommend you try and find it. It came out in '99, same year as 10 Things..., and for me is easily one of his best. A great aussie film. Once again, RIP Heath, we'll miss ya.

And the Oscar Nominations Are... - Jan 22, 2008 - 04:19pm
I haven't seen any of those films yet, a lot of the films have been out in the states for ages before they're released here. I'm very keen to see Sweeny Todd, and being a huge Depp fan am hoping that after his Globe win he'll finally take out a best actor at the Oscars. I really think that the guys behind the pirates film should win in visual effects. I know he turned up in the 2nd film, but the effects for Davy Jones are still the most realistic i have ever seen. When i first saw Dead Man's Chest i thought wow that's great make up effects, then when i realised it was digital it blew me away. That was the very first time any digital effects had fooled me. I'm still impressed by it.

First Set Photo for WOLVERINE Online - Jan 22, 2008 - 04:02pm
Bernini, what has that comment got to do with anything? Other than the fact you've obviously got something against Australians?

Update: Ledger's Autopsy Is Inconclusive - Jan 22, 2008 - 03:50pm
Like so many, i never expected to wake up to this story. I am truly shocked. I don't know why, but for me, Heath seemed like the last person i'd expect to hear about this way. It really is a sad day. Being a fellow Australian i can honestly say that we, and the world at large, have lost an extremely talented actor. Even though they split last year, my thoughts go out to Michelle Williams, their two year old daughter Matilda and rest of the Ledger family. R.I.P.

Michael Bay Prepping TRANSFORMERS 2 - Jan 19, 2008 - 08:42pm
Man, ive been comin to this site for close to a decade, since back when it was cinescape, and everytime certain posters come along this site gets worse and worse. This used to be a site where genre fans could enjoy discussing their opinions whilst respecting each others take on films or news and whatnot. Apart from the news ive always enjoyed the comments left by fans wanting to share their thoughts. Now all we get is juvenille posts bashing someone who has the right to post his/her opinion and should not feel villified for doing so. Sure everyone has the right to post what they want, but all certain posters seem to do here is attack others in a very non constructive way whilst trying to use every expletive they ever learned on the playground in the process. It really is pathetic. You posters think that someone elses description of what they look for in a film is 'sad'? What's sad is the fact you feel the need to CONSTANTLY put other people down for their opinions just because you don't agree with something they've said. Its getting to the point where you can't read any article without having to deal with post after post of this piffle. No wonder decent posters have either stopped posting or left this site altogether. That's not to say that everyone here is like that, there are still very good posters who frequent this site who's opinions lend to quality discussions. It’s just a shame that everyone has to deal with the childish remarks of some.

Concept Sketch and Details for HOST 2 - Jan 11, 2008 - 12:19am
Cool. This is great news. I loved the first one. Sure it's not the greatest, but it was darn fun and entertaining. Specially that rampage through the crowd of people.

Freddy's Back with a New NIGHTMARE? - Jan 07, 2008 - 09:06pm
I also would have liked the fvjva movie to be made, as has been stated the comic so far is excellent and would kick ass on the big screen, but oh well. As for Englund bein old, that's ok, Craven originally wanted Freddy to be like in his 50's-60's. Either way i'd love to see Freddy make a decent comeback. Maybe they could also ressurect Dokken to record a song for the film "We're the Dreeeeamm Warriors! Don't wanna dream no more...." haha :)

Weta Workshop Handling JLA Costumes - Jan 07, 2008 - 12:36am
Wow. Well at least there will be two good things about this film. Costumes and effects. Weta just keep getting better and better with each outing.

Gibbons' Second Part of WATCHMEN Set Visit - Dec 22, 2007 - 07:55pm
Nice, i'm liking all the attention to detail they're putting into the film. I'm still gonna wait for it to pass judgement though. But it seems to be shaping up great.

Raimi Rides TO HELL And Back Again.. - Dec 21, 2007 - 01:17am
ppl really need to stop comparing a spidey flick to what a hobbit one may be like, regardless of who the director is going to be. If Raimi does get the job then i have faith in him to do it justice. He's said he wouldn't be involved if Jackson wasn't and that he loved what Jackson had done with the Trilogy. I think he would stick to that source material and format very closely while adding his own touches and working with what made the book so loved in the first place. Even if Jackson did do the Hobbit i would say we would be getting an entirely new look at middle earth anyway based on the lighter mood of the novel. Also, i'm stoked Raimi is doing a lower budget horror again. Bring back Bruce!

Which Trailers Get the SUPERBOWL Treatment? - Dec 21, 2007 - 01:00am
C'mon, you know the Dolphins are gonna beat the Pats this weekend don't ya! :)

New MICHAEL MYERS Figure Available Spring 08 - Dec 21, 2007 - 12:56am
Interesting. I know it's an iconic scene from the film and all....just strange to see it in figure form. Also, not too keen on the bare chested Draven.

Jackson Explains 'Not' Directing THE HOBBIT - Dec 19, 2007 - 08:34pm
Wiseguy is right, people will see it regardless. I can't believe someone compared Raimi to McG. That's one of the most absurd things ive read, just coz of spidey 3? Cmon. Maybe venom shouldn't have been in that one, but it was still a good, moving story. And i applaud Raimi for the direction he took Peter. Also, comparing a sipdey flick to a tolkien one is ridiculous as they're at totally oposite ends of the spectrum, content wise and visually. However, i do agree with Del Toro taking up the job. Pan's Labyrinth is amazing and his use of the darker style would definately fit middle earth. That being said, remember the Hobbit is a fair bit lighter than LOTR as it was originally intended for children. Also, if Jackson is going to write and produce then he still will play a major part in the films. Having him in those roles will be a hell of a lot better than not at all. Anyway, i'm very much keen for more middle earth stories on the big screen. I'm still amazed by the extended editions (much better than the theatrical versions) everytime i watch them. On the actors not getting any younger; they can always digitally make them look younger, like they did with Mckellan and Stewart in X3.

Chow the 'Master' in DRAGONBALL - Dec 19, 2007 - 08:09pm
Klebba would be pefect for Krillin, in fact he's the only person i think of for the part. Plus he's a professional stuntman and could quite easily pull off the martial arts. Also just coz some of you don't like the show doesn't mean it's bad. I'm sure there's stuff you like that others don't. I for one have been waiting for a live action DB, and then DBZ, since like the early 90's. I just hope they do this justice. I love Chow's stuff, so we'll see. BTW, there is a live action Hong Kong Dragonball movie from like '89......not good :)

First Six Minutes of DARK KNIGHT Revealed - Dec 04, 2007 - 03:32am
Think i'll just wait for the film. I want to make up my own mind about what i'm watching, i am very much lookin forward to this flick though.

Buy Your Way on the WOLVERINE Set? - Oct 12, 2007 - 12:46am
If it is for charity then i say good on 'em. Why not.

Cho as Sulu, Pegg as Scotty in STAR TREK - Oct 12, 2007 - 12:44am
Haha, cool. I love this guy.

THUNDERCATS Grabs a Director - Oct 10, 2007 - 10:19pm
I disagree with this not translating well to live action. I'd prefer it. Imagine the characters designed by stan winston or rick baker in the style of say burton's planet of the apes? I'd definately see that.

Pixar Developing JOHN CARTER OF MARS Trilogy - Oct 09, 2007 - 04:21am
Yea, ive heard of the series, but admit i know nothing about it, but i have absolute faith in Pixar. They can do no wrong in my book.

Santa Takes on the Undead in LAST CHRISTMAS - Oct 09, 2007 - 04:18am
Ha, i've been waiting to get my hands on a copy of this comic, looks great.

Budget Cuts for THOR Movie? - Oct 09, 2007 - 04:17am
Hmm, a big budget doesn't necessarily mean a good film. However, if this has the right story you wont need to know that he's a marvel character or much more than the fact he's a norse god goin in.

The Halo Movie is 'Entirely Dead' - Oct 07, 2007 - 02:59am
HA, those last two posts made me laugh. There's shit everywhere these days, but what smells like shit may be perfume to somebody else.

MOST HAUNTED Returns - Oct 07, 2007 - 02:55am
Aw man, i hope it wasn't found to be fake, i really like this show.

SWEENEY TODD Trailer #1 - Oct 05, 2007 - 05:31am
Burton is so not in a rut. And his dark movie making style is indicative of the story he is telling. He's making films that he likes, the way he likes, and he's damn f'n good at it. If he tried making films in other peoples styles then he wouldn't be himself and the film would suffer for it.

SERENITY Sequel on the Horizon? - Oct 05, 2007 - 04:52am
Nice, i'm all for another one. In any way shape or form. Anything with Fillion is gold. I would also love it if the show got picked up again, we can dream.

Wong Likes Live-Action DRAGON BALL Z - Oct 03, 2007 - 07:09am
Ive been waiting for this for a long time. There's a reason why it's been called the greatest action cartoon of all time. I'd say they'd go with the first saga, with the Earths Z Warriors preparing for the arrival of Napa and Vegeta (the greatest Z character of all). But yes, this could also quite easily flop. There were rumours a few years ago that this film was being optioned and that Hugh Jackman was going to play Goku. As much as i like him, i really don't see it. Just get Stephen Chow involved and it will be fantatsic. Kung Fu Hustle was an awesome example of a 'live action' anime. I just really hope this is done right.

Megan Fox Confirms Desire for HACK/SLASH - Sep 28, 2007 - 01:43am
Actually the only 'famous/established' slasher cassie and vlad have come across is Chucky. There have been glimpses of some slashers that may resemble in some way other well knowns, but the Chuckster is really the only one. As for who said something like 'if they don't have the famous slashers it'll be 'B' movie fare', if you read the comics you'll know they don't need the big guns to do a great slasher story.

James Marsters Returns to SMALLVILLE - Sep 27, 2007 - 04:20am
Brainiac always comes back :)

Weinsteins Buy GATCHAMAN & ASTRO BOY - Sep 27, 2007 - 04:15am
Nice, i liked TMNT but it was a tad too short, kinda seemed like a longer ep of the tv show. Still cool tho. Be interesting to see how these two pan out.

Megan Fox Confirms Desire for HACK/SLASH - Sep 27, 2007 - 04:12am
F'n finally! This is one of my all time fav comic books! I'm so stoked there's finally something doing with, perhaps, getting this film started! It's been in pre pre production for bloody ages. Fox would look great all sluted/trashied up for the role of Cassie. Now bring back Kane Hodder to play Vlad.

TERMINATOR 4 Arrives in 2009 - Sep 26, 2007 - 07:25pm
Hamill was excellent as the Joker in the animated series i agree, he also wasn't bad as Trickster in the Flash back in the 90s. Like metalwater, i really enjoyed the prequels for what they were, entertaining. Someone said that Hamill made us believe that Yoda was alive....give some credit to Frank Oz, without him Yoda would have been very silly indeed. As for T4, i'm with on everyones page with Kyle Reese. I want to see him back in action, and cant wait for the carnage of future war.

Universal Protecting LA SCORTA Remake - Sep 26, 2007 - 07:07pm
Although a remake of Labyrinth would be cool, nothing would live up to the vision of Jim Henson. Im still out on the new Dark Crystal, especially as they've said they are using lots of CGI. I'd rather see a sequel to Labyrinth made from the Tokyopop manga books that are out at the moment, showing a now teen Toby venturing into the Labyrinth.

The Rock as CAPTAIN MARVEL or BLACK ADAM? - Sep 24, 2007 - 07:56am
Black Adam all the way.

Aussie Victoria Hill Tries For JLA's WONDER WOMAN - Sep 24, 2007 - 07:55am
You wanna talk thin? Remember when Mischa Barton was up for the role in the Wonder Woman movie? That's thin. Anyway, WW isn't really that big, she just has broad shoulders. Hill would just need to add some tone more so than bulk.

HD IRON MAN Trailer Online Now - Sep 12, 2007 - 12:38am
While you're talking bout older Marvel movies that were, well, not the greatest; don't forget the Nick Fury flick with Hasselhoff, and also Generation X.

New ALIEN, PREDATOR ArtFX Statues - Sep 12, 2007 - 12:13am
Man, Kotobukiya impress me more and more with every new offering. They look fantastic set up.

HARRY POTTER #1 Franchise of All Time - Sep 12, 2007 - 12:04am
"sissy-fied Nancy Boy driven Harry Potter films"?.....do you see the same Luke Skywalker i see?

More Mutants in WOLVERINE? - Sep 11, 2007 - 11:50pm
Whoever the source is says 'some of the most beloved mutants from the x-universe'....so i wouldn't put my money on any of the 2nd rate or lesser known characters.

Kevin McKidd Talks THOR Rumors - Sep 07, 2007 - 04:53am
Does anyone else think he looks like a young Dolph Lundgren in that pic?

Tobey Maguire Attacks in ROBOTECH - Sep 07, 2007 - 04:48am
Wow, Tobey went all out with the creativity and thought put into the name of his production company.

Bruce Campbell Not in BUBBA HO-TEP Sequel - Aug 29, 2007 - 06:53am
Noooooo! Man, that's just shit. I'm with you narpin, ive been sayin to my mates for years that brendan is like a young campbell and that if they ever do a, god forbid, remake of the evil dead franchise they should get him. His acting improved heaps over the course of Buffy, plus he's funny.

FREDDY VS JASON VS ASH Hitting Comics Soon - Aug 13, 2007 - 09:08pm
Oh hell yeah. I also was bummed this never made it to the screen, but a comic is the next best thing. Im also all for another Evil Dead. And 'course Ash would win, he's the 'Chosen One'! The only one who can stop the deadite/demon hordes. And what are Freddy and Jason........?

Matthew Vaughn Set to Direct THOR - Aug 10, 2007 - 04:37am
I'm actually all for a full on norse mythological flick set in Asgard. Thor v Loki. Throw in some frost giants n trolls and all sorts of other meanies runnin round to be beat down by Thor n the hot ass Valkyries. Gold.

JACKASS Got Game - May 23, 2007 - 01:04am
Haha, can't wait. But this is one of those games that could go either way. Extremely fun or exrtremely repetitive. Also too bad there's no PS3 version.

Zak Penn Talks HULK and X-MEN Spinoff - May 02, 2007 - 04:34am
I'm very into the possibility of a film with younger x-men. Not so much if it's the core x team when they are young but something along the lines of Generation X or New X-men. There are so many great young mutant characters and stories they could do and it could really work. (we'll just forget about the Generation X TV movie from the 90's) ok for what it was but nowhere near great

Franco on SPIDER-MAN 3 & 4 - May 02, 2007 - 04:27am
I totally agree with you DarkJedi, excellent point. If Raimi and the others aren't able to return, i'm all for a new take on the franchise with more capable artists.

Michael Apted to direct "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" - Apr 20, 2007 - 12:59am
I also thought it was an entertaining family flick. It did its job just fine. You can't really compare Chronicles with LOTR because they are totaly different stories for different age groups. So of course the films will differ majorly, especially in tone. The only thing they had in common was the authors were friends at one point in their lives. Also there's no point slamming a film for being overtly Christian when that was entirely the point of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (and exactly why Tolkien disliked it), so really you should have a problem with the book, not the film based on it.

David Goyer writes "Super Max" - Apr 09, 2007 - 04:10am
I don't see a problem with this at all to be honest. Who cares if he doesn't have an 'establishing' film. The fact that they are using a well known DC character will get the comic fans and non readers regardless as the synopsis sounds great and could be done without a known superhero, ie one they just make up for the films sake.

"Wild Boys: Dawn of the Wild" available in April - Feb 23, 2007 - 04:57am
Damn, i though this was gonna be about some kick ass film with steve-o n chris. Bugger.

Terry Rossio talks "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" - Feb 12, 2007 - 08:42pm
I honestly don't know how you could hate the second film. These films are just great fun to watch and you can tell Depp is having a ball makin them. Though i'm not sure a fourth film would be such a great idea. Just leve it as a trilogy for the time being. Interestingly though it was never planned as a trilogy. They only intended to make the first one and leave it at that cause they didn't expect it to do that well. So when it smashed its way up the charts they went back over the film to see if they could bring out any plot lines they could flesh out into two more movies. I personally can't wait for the third installment. Capt. Jack is one of my favourite characters ever.

Hasbro's 2007 Toys - Feb 12, 2007 - 08:34pm
actually guys that isn't the Iron Man from the movie. It's Ultimate Iron Man from Hasbros new Marvel Legends line. And if you ask me Hasbro has killed that line of figures. Toy Biz made it one of the best selling lines of action figures around and Hasbro has turned them into cheap looking pieces of crap!

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin to get Action Figure - Jan 02, 2007 - 05:27pm
I also collect action figures and if done justice i would gladly add this figure to that collection. Steve was a hero to us Aussies, love him or hate him his conservation work was unparalleled. His enthusiasm and love for life and the animals that he devoted his time to saving, and educating us on the way we can live safely with and protect our native wildlife is sorely missed. I for one hope his legend lives on for many years to come.

"Indiana Jones 4" confirmed for 2008 - Jan 02, 2007 - 05:13pm
Wasn't Shyamalan writing a script for this a few years ago? What happened to that? I think his take on Indy would have been pretty darn interesting personaly

McFarlane's Monsters: Femmes Fatales - Apr 25, 2006 - 04:47am
The only reason companies like NECA are even doing any business at all is because of McFarlane. If it wasn't for him and his direction of sculpting for horror and movie figures then these other rip off companies wouldn't be 'snatching' up all the licenses they can get their hands on, so of course he's going to look for other licences. He doesn't want to beat them to death like the others are doing. And if McFarlanes sculptors do jump ship, it would certainly improve their lines, because their sculpts suck arse.
