What They Say
Masaki's in trouble. His rich father is about to disown him! But he's still got one last chance: if he can collect on some old unpaid debts, then all will be forgiven. Masaki may be a slacker, but he's quick to realize that the fastest way to collect is to go after the debtors' hot, busty daughters!

And so, Masaki's "game" begins. The rules? If the girls can't pay back the debt, they have pay up with all sorts of sexual favors. They'll have to cater to his every carnal demand, fulfill his every fetish... Masaki may not be collecting much money, but he doesn't care – he's surrounded by girls moaning in pleasure and begging for more!

The Review!
Cut off from the family money, Masaki takes on the uncollectible debts of his father's company and instead of getting the money plays show me the nookie.

For our primary viewing session, we listened to this show in its original language of Japanese. The stereo mix is pretty much the standard you get from an adult show with a minimal full feeling usually just in the music while the dialogue and what few other sound effects there are find themselves being mostly center channel driven. It's not a bad track but it's not something that leaps out at you either. Dialogue is clean and clear throughout and we had no problems with dropouts or distortions.

Originally released to video in 2004, the transfer for this two OVA series is presented in its original full frame aspect ratio. The materials here are quite good overall and are essentially the same kind we've seen for most of the Vanilla Series releases. There's some visible dot crawl throughout a number of scenes though that's a bit distracting at times, showing up along some hairlines or around other areas. Beyond that it looks pretty solid though with clean clear colors that don't show much in the way of macroblocking or gradient issues.

The cover features one of the debts that Masaki collects along with the help of one of the household servants and it's a pretty tame cover overall but the proportions just look funny on the nurse and the way she's angled so that it just doesn't look right. The layout and design is decent if uninspired in general but it's serviceable and gets the point across – this show has maids and nurses. And schoolgirls too but you need to look at the back cover to discover there alongside a number of shots from the show and the two paragraph summary that covers the basic premise. The discs features are clear and easy to read though we would prefer a technical grid. No insert is included with this release.

The main menu plays up one of the voyeuristic moments of the series as it has Mai looking through an opened doorway and a zoomed in image on one side shows what she sees, which is clips of the action from the show itself. The selections are the standard for this series and are along the right so you get quick episode access in addition to a play all feature and the usual setup and extras. Access times are nice and fast and the disc correctly read our players' language presets and played accordingly.

The only included extra is a slideshow of images from the two episodes.

The Vanilla Series continues on with another two episode series, this time it feels like a lot of the other shows in the series in that there's something of a mean streak in it and the lead character really does qualify as a dick. The domination aspect is pretty much what's leading this show around and it provides some fun with both toys and a bit of the scatological.

The story is straightforward since you don't want to have too much plot in front of your hentai viewers. We're introduced to "college" student Masaki, the son of a Don of a big construction company. He's basically done nothing with his life, barely goes to school and buys off whatever he needs or throws around the family name. His father has finally had enough of it after he's taken out an expensive car with no license and crashed it into someone's house. So he's cut him off from the family money and wants him to learn how to manage people without it. He gives Masaki a stack of contracts that are in the "they'll never pay it back" pile and tells him to go do what he can and learn something.

Naturally, Masaki's not happy about this but with a bit of nudging from Riko, one of the servants in the house, he realizes that several of those people who owe money have kids in the same school as him. With his lusty and perverted mind, he sees ways of making the kids realize that their parents can't pay off the debts right now when he requires it and will give themselves instead. Of course, the ones he picks out have attractive daughters who are easily submissive, which means we have characters that try to fight against him but give in pretty easily. They think it's just one time at first but then Masaki starts coming up with more and more devious pleasure potentials and situations. He brings in various tools which shock these virginal girls who have a hard time controlling themselves and alternate between climaxing and relieving themselves.

In Summary:
It's a fairly standard story throughout but the real letdown was that Riko didn't get more of a role in it until the end since I thought she was the most attractive character by far. Overall there aren't any surprises but the action is decent, the acting on both tracks is enjoyable and though predictable it does have a mix of somewhat more nasty material but not an overdose of it so it may be a decent introduction to some of it for some folks.
